ENTRY FEES
$8 per print, non-refundable entry fee for current Humboldt Arts Council members. $10 per print, non-refundable entry fee for non-members. Limit of 3 entries per artist.

Collections Curator
Humboldt Group Collection, Fortuna
A Humboldt County native, David Swisher studied photography at College of the Redwoods
and
Humboldt State University. He has worked in the photography field for over 30 years,
including the
last 22 with the Humboldt Group Collection as Collections Curator.
Swisher oversees the
Humboldt Group Collection of over 4,000 contemporary 20th Century photographs
and frequently
curates exhibitions for museums and galleries.
RULES FOR ENTRIES
Open to all photographers. All photographs must be images of water. Photographs previously accepted for an Images of Water exhibition may not be entered. All photographic techniques are accepted. Each artwork must have a registration label completely filled out. Please fill out all forms for HAC representative to attach during intake. Art must be framed and covered with glass and with securely attached hanging wire. Total size including frame can be no larger than 3’ x 2’. No uniframes or exposed glass edges will be accepted.
This is a juried show. Art not picked up within 30 days of the end of the exhibition becomes the property of Humboldt Arts Council.
ACCEPTED ENTRIES POSTED
The list of accepted works will be posted on the side and front doors of the MGMA at noon, Tuesday, July 1
and online at www.humboldtarts.org.

Best of Show $300, 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $100 and 3rd Place $50.

SALES
Sales are encouraged. Artists receive 60% of the retail sale value. The HAC receives a 40% commission. All photographs not for sale must be marked “NFS” on the entry form.
LIABILITY
Exhibited works are insured by the HAC. If requested, proof of insurance value must be provided.
