JUROR: Frederick Hazard
Frederick Hazard was born in industrial Chicago. He started producing art at an early age and evertually immersed himself into an informal but dedicated production of metal sculpture. His work is driven by a strong attraction to old rusted iron, with a love of early machine age pieces create a challenge when putting together his sculpture. His work has been exhibited at the Highland Art Center in Weaverville as well as a recent solo show in the Melvin Schuler Scultpure Garden.

SALES:
Sales are encouraged. HAC retains a 40% sales commission. If work sold is equal to or over $600, you will need to provide your social security number.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Please read carefully! All work must be created from 100% recycled and scrap materials, including found and scavenged objects, with the exception of new adhesives and/or paint. 2D work must have attached hardware for hanging. Sculptural work must be freestanding and stable, and installation- ready. All work submitted for inclusion in the exhibtion must fit through a 80” x 31” doorway. Artworks cannot have been previously exhibited in an HAC Junque Arte competition. This is a juried competition. Inclusion of works is not guaranteed. If requested, proof of insurance value must be provided. The HAC retains the right to reproduce the image for its own archival records and/or to publicize and promote this exhibition.
