The Humboldt Arts Council’s Fifth Annual
Small Works Benefit Drawing offers twelve miniatures-- six three-dimensional and six (8" x 10") framed works of art by local art luminaries. This delightful benefit drawing features work valued from $200 to $2,000. It’s a great chance for you to own original artwork at an affordable price while helping the Humboldt Arts Council support its community programs, including the Morris Graves Museum of Art.
Visit the Rotunda of the MGMA June 1 through the drawing on December 7, 2007 to see in person the artwork or artworks you want to win. Drawing Reception from 5 - 7, winners will be announced at 7. Also come back to see this year’s artists give a free presentation from 6 - 7 pm each first and third Friday of the month starting June 15. Tickets are $10 each; three for $25; ten for $50; and 25 for $100.
You can purchase tickets at the Museum Store and cast your tickets into boxes mounted below each work of art. Or, simply mail the order form in this brochure and we will confirm your purchase and enter your tickets for you. These benefit drawing tickets make a fun gift for the holidays, birthdays and thank you’s, and if you purchase tickets in money-saving lots, who says you have to give them all away? You might win enough artwork to launch your career as a collector! |
