Broadway! featuring HLOC’s Production Workshop

The Production Workshop will present a Frank Loesser Review at Family Arts Day. The Workshop is composed of advanced performing youth, many of whom regularly take part in adult HLOC productions, and who are developing their vocal, acting, and dance techniques under the direction of Carol Ryder and Cindy Cress, with assistance from James Gadd and Amy Chalfant.

Women’s Her-story Month with stories from Anita Punla

The theme for Women’s Her-story month in 2011 is Our History is Our Strength.  Storyteller Anita Punla utilizes poetry, folktale and story to define a few of the many positive qualities of the feminine, qualities like wisdom, courage, strength, mercy and fortitude.  Punla shares lessons from many cultures, from past to modern writers.
