The Inkling Quartet
Inkling was originally conceived in June of 2007 to perform at the Morris Graves Sunday Jazz series. The group focuses primarily on presenting original material comprised of varying musical ideas. Inkling employs a collaborative approach to the development of each piece bringing a unique and multifaceted realization to each composition.

Darius Brotman
Darius Brotman comes from Berkeley, California where he received his degree in music composition. He started playing piano jazz at the late age of 32 and has been playing the local club scene in Humboldt County for the past 20 years.

Dave Wilson
Dave Wilson maintains an active performance schedule and a full teaching studio. You find him playing guitar in a wide variety of settings from classical to jazz to rock. He is also an accomplished composer, recording producer and has film scores to his credit.

Mary Jo Casasanta
Mary-Jo has been singing for most of her life. In our neck of the woods she has performed with numerous musicians in varied settings. She performs songs and singing styles that represent jazz vocals from ballads to bossa novas and reminiscent of the great female vocalists from the first half of the 20th Century.

Aber Miller
A Lawrence, Kansas native, Aber moved to Humboldt County in 2004 to study music at HSU. He has played with local bands Vintage Soul, The Bump Foundation and Afro-Massive as well as a number of jazz projects including Sunnybrae Jazz and The Trinidad Jazz Project.
