The Morris Graves Museum of Art is the perfect space to host your next special event!

We are happy to host weddings, receptions, private parties, recitals, classes, business meetings and more.

Plan your next unforgettable event in this beautifully restored historic Carnegie building, surrounded by inspiring artworks in 7 galleries. The main floor Rotunda and Atrium are available for your event with a maximum capacity of 120 seated and 250 standing. You'll have access to all galleries (unless exhibitions are in transition), restrooms, a classroom with tables, elevator, and culinary center for your caterer.  Surrounding the building is a courtyard sculpture garden which can be utilized for outdoor events or to expand the space of your party.

We love to support our fellow non-profit organizations, and are happy to provide groups with a 501C3 status with special reduced rates (see rate tables below).

Equipment included with rentals:

  • 16 4-foot diameter round tables
  • 14 6-foot rectangular tables
  • 120 chairs

Available for additional $50 each:

  • PA system
  • Piano
  • Digital projector and screen

SPECIAL EVENT RENTALS

Book your company holiday party, corporate retreat, luncheon, mixer, or special event in this gorgeous space!

After Hours (5pm-12am)
Non-profits: $100/per hour   Public use: $150/per hour

Day Rate (8 hours)
Non-profits: $800/per day     Public use: $1000/per day

Day Rate During Museum Open Hours (12-5pm Wed-Sun)
$50/per hour (2 hour minimum)

 

 

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A $150 security deposit is required with all rentals. This deposit is fully refundable if, following the event, the property is left in the same condition it was in prior to event. A Security Deposit Checklist will be provided with every rental.


PHOTO SHOOTS

Need a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding party photos or other special photo shoot?

Day Rate (12pm-5pm, Wednesday through Sunday)
Public use: $50/first hour, $25/each following hour

After Hours (5pm-12am or Monday/Tuesday)

Public use: $100/per hour

PERFORMANCE RENTALS

For free performances only. If you are interested in presenting a ticketed or admission based performance, please inquire about a community partnership with Janine Murphy, Programs Manager at janine@humboldtarts.org or (707) 442-0278 x202.

After Hours (5pm-12am) - 2 hour minimum
Non-profits: $125 ($50/per additional hours)  Public use: $175 ($100 per additional hours)

Day Rate (8 hours)
Non-profits: $425/per day     Public use: $625/per day

 

 

Birthday Parties

Saturdays and Sundays 10am-5pm 

(other times may be available upon request)

Members: $150 Non Members: $175

Birthday Parties Include:
2-hour Youth Classroom Rental (including set-up/clean-up time), Museum Tour, 2 Hands-on Art Projects 

Two hands-on art projects, including all materials and instruction are part of every birthday party rental!
Projects can be tailored to fit your child's birthday party theme.

Renters responsible for set-up/clean-up of decorations and refreshments


 

CLASSROOM RENTAL RATES

During Business Hours (12-5pm Wed-Sun) - 3 hour minimum
Members/Non-profits $25 per hour    Non-members/Public $30 per hour

During Non-Business Hours - 3 hour minimum
Members/Non-profits $35 per hour     Non-members/Public $40 per hour

Classroom is not available to rent for fee based classes
