The
quality of life in Humboldt County is unique because of three special
elements -- the supportive and caring nature of the people who live
here, the beautiful natural landscape that surrounds and nurtures
us, and the exceptional flourishing of cultural expression encouraged
in our communities. The Humboldt Arts Council is dedicated to providing
leadership in support of the rich heritage of the arts on California’s
North Coast, and to bringing this legacy fully into community life,
by working in partnership with artists, arts organizations, community
groups, and schools to strengthen the arts’ accessibility and
impact as aesthetic, personal and social resources. |
| Exhibits
and programs at the Morris Graves
Museum of Art are a major part of the cultural life of Eureka and
Humboldt County. Here at the Museum they are presented in a building
rich with history and meaning to local residents. What more significant
gift to your community can you give than your guardianship for its
cultural traditions? Show your support to the 23,000 residents and
visitors who come to the Museum annually in search of enrichment,
entertainment and education. And help sustain the Humboldt Arts Council’s
youth programs serving over 7,000 school children annually, supplementing
their arts education. |

As
an incentive for joining at the “Circle of 100” or higher membership level, the Humboldt
Arts Council will match your membership for a friend or client as
a gift from you. Our desire is to build our membership with new residents
to our area, those who have never been asked to join before, and most
of all, those who are interested in supporting the Morris Graves Museum
of Art and our services to the community. Your support will help grow
our Museum Family. |
Other options
for supporting the Humboldt Arts Council and the Morris Graves Museum
of Art include Museum Sponsorship, Exhibition Underwriting, Ad &
Brochure Underwriting, Naming Opportunities, Brick Buy Brick, Step buy Step.
We look forward
to your partnership with us to bring the rich heritage of North Coast
arts more fully into local community life. Please join us with your
membership or other financial support. For more information, please
